Fallen Angels, Giants, and Evil Spirits

SEED OF THE SERPENT

Gen 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

 

Angels were here before people and they are the ones who occupied the earth and other planets throughout the universe. Lucifer once ruled the earth between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2.

 

Eze 28:14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:17  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

 

Lucifer cast out

 

Luk 10:18  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

 

He took 1/3 of the angels with him. See Revelation 10:1-4

Bnai Elohim = sons of God = angels

Genesis 6:1-4 speaks of angels and women producing giants.

 

1. There were giants in the earth
2. They were born to the daughters of men
3. The sons of God came into the daughters of men and produced giants

Og in the Golan Hts controlled 60 cities which were north, south, east and west controlling the gates  (entrances) into the promised land.

For which reason they removed their camp to Hebron; and when they had taken it they slew all the inhabitants. There were till then left a race of giants, who had bodies so large and countenances so entirely different from men, that they were terrible to the hearing. The bones of these men are still shown to this very day, unlike to any credible relations of other men.”

THINGS THEY BUILT:

Syria, Lebanon and Northern Israel have ruins of gigantic proportions.

 

Belka Valley in Lebanon has huge temples. The Acropolis of Baalbek Temple is the most well known.

A dolman = stone table= go back 3000 years

Stonehenge in England goes back to 1000 BC or earlier Single upright stones

The fallen angels came down to Mt. Hermon

There are 50,000 known structures in Europe

18 inch long hand prints found in U.S. the giant had to be 12 to 15 feet tall.

 

How are all these things found all over the world? All continental plates once were together. They were separated in time of Peleg. See Genesis 11.

Thought: If giants were so big dinosaurs would not have been so intimidating to them as they would to us     grasshoppers.

A temple in northern Syria was discovered in 1936. There are footprints carved into the stone entrance that are three feet long. This is 2 hours from the Golan Heights.  These MAY be footprints of Og the King of Bashan. This is just speculation.  Og king of the giants is mentioned 22 times in the Bible and he ruled 60 cities.

 

Babylonian epic of Gilgamesh…universal flood stories in cultures around the world.

 

 Genesis 11:28-31 Cuneiform tablets from UR (Abraham’s origin) The cuneiform text and tables from UR, the oldest books of mankind till without exception of gods who rode in the heavens in ships (UFOs) ; of gods who came from the stars, possessed terrible weapons and returned to the stars.

 

This is mentioned in a book called Chariots of the gods.

 

THE AKKADIAN TABLETS

In both Sumerian and Akkadian tablets, the gods are connected with the stars. Stars are pictured in Akkadian tablets as we might draw them today. These stars are circled by planets of various sizes.

d.     Those who came gazed on the strength of the man

 

Note: It also mentions the inbreeding of gods and man

 

MYTHOLOGY IS ACTUALLY A PERVERTED CORRUPTION OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

 

INCA INDIANS:

They taught that the stars were inhabited and the gods came down from the constellations. The same idea is taught in Sumerian, Babylonian and Egyptian cuneiform writings. The gods came from the stars and returned to them in fire ships (UFOs)

 

THE MAYAN:

They taught their ancestors were paid a visit from the gods. They were given knowledge and told the gods would one day return. When the Indians built their large pyramids and buildings, their god would return and live among them again. The Mayan Indians have the best calendar in the ancient world and dates back to 3111 BC.

 

THE SUMERIANS

They wrote their gods must be worshipped on mountain peaks. If they did not exist they built them. They wrote about a flood and what occurred after the flood. “And then the flood, and after the flood, kingship came down from heaven once again.”

 

 

UNIVERSAL SECULAR BELIEF

1.     Universal flood

2.     gods came down to earth from the heavens and took on the form of men, which produced a race of giants.

 

MANY CHURCHES TEACH (STARTED IN 4^TH CENTURY AD) that the sons of Seth came into the daughters of Cain and produced giants. They never explain how two humans can produce giants. The churches taught this because there was a tendency toward the worship of angels.

 

Matt. 22:30  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

 

These angels are spirits and did not take on human flesh as the angels in Genesis 6 did.

The earliest reports of fallen angels is in the book of Enoch. The sons of heaven, who belonged to “guardian angels,” had lusted for the beauty of the daughters of men and in the time of Jared decided to descend upon Mt. Hermon to carry out their plans from there.

 

There were 200 of them and their leader made them swear an oath to adhere to heir purpose and it was this oath that gave the mountain its name. Hermon means “swear an oath.”

 

They consorted with the daughters of men, who birthed a generation of giants who set about mercilessly destroying human beings. (became cannibals and full of blood lust. Perhaps where legends of vampires and were wolves come from)  The fallen angels also taught men the use of weapons and other tools promoting immorality and crime. In this manner demonic wisdom came into being, in addition to Divine Wisdom and led to the corruption of mankind.

 

AFTER THE FLOOD OF NOAH

Moved by man’s outcry, the four archangels appealed to God and were given order to PUNISH THE FALLEN ANGELS.

 

Jud 1:14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jud 1:15  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

 

These same accounts are also given in the book of Jubilees.

 

JEWISH TALMUD:

There were 2 leaders of the Fallen Angels. One was Shemhazai and the other was AZAZEL. These heaped scorn on the sinfulness of men after the flood. The went to earth and also committed sin and were seduced by the beauty of the daughters of men.

 

THE WRITINGS OF JUSTIN MARTYR: How the angels transgressed Book 1 page 190

Angels captivated by the love of women begot children who were of those called DEMONS; and besides they afterwards subdued the human race to themselves partly by teaching them to offer sacrifices and incense and libations, of which they stood in need after they were enslaved by lustful passions; and among them they sowed murders, wars, adulteries, intemperate deeds, and all wickedness.

 

Whence also the poets and mythologists not knowing that it was the angels and those demons whom had been begotten by them, did these things to men and women and cities and nations which they related ascribed them to god himself and to the offspring of those who were called brothers, Neptune and Pluto and to the children again of these their offspring. For whatever name each of the angels had given himself and his children, by that name they were called.”

 

CLEMENT OF ALEXANDER book VIII chapter VI page 272

 

For those spirits who inhabit heaven, the angels who dwell in the lowest region, being grieved at the ingratitude of men to GOD, asked that they might enter the life of men, that, really by becoming men, by more intercourse they might convict those who had acted ungratefully toward Him. (Upset by man’s sin)

 

But then having assumed these forms (taken on human bodies) they convicted as covetous those whole stole them, and changed themselves into the NATURE of men, in order that, living holily, and showing the possibility of so living, they might subject the ungrateful to punishment, yet having become in all respects men, they also partook of human lust and being brought under its subjection they fell into cohabitation with women and other sin etc.

 

Clement of Alexander also wrote: Their discoveries: They taught the use of metals, precious stones, charms, magic, astrology and were called DEMONS BOUND IN THE FLESH.

 

 

THE BOOK OF ENOCH (Ethiopian version)

Further God said to Raphael, “Bind Azazel by his hands and feet…and s;lit open the desert which is in Deudael, and thorw him there. And cover him with darkness; and let him stay there forever…that on eht day of judgement he may be hurled into the fire.

 

And God said unto Michael, “Go inform Shemyaza and the other with him…when all their sons kill each other, and when they see the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them for seventy generations under the hill of the earth until the day of judgement. And in those days they will lead them to the abyss of fire.

 

Dry places  see Luke 11:24  Jude 6 and Rev. 20:1,3

 

SUMMARY:

1. Angels came down to earth in the form of human flesh to teach men righteousness
2. They became attracted to women and had intercourse with them resulting in the race called Nephilim or giants
3. Their offspring ruled and taught wickedness to men. This is who God brought the flood of Noah Genesis 6, Jude 6 and 7; 1 peter 2:4 These angels are bound in the lowest hell called Tartarus.

 

Rev 12:4  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:

 

The third of the angels that were cast out with Satan to the earth are different from the ones that produced giants. This 1/3 make up the principalities and powers and are still loose on the earth with Satan.

 

THREE GROUPS OF ANGELS

 

• Angels that are still with GOD (2/3)
• Angels bound under the earth (2 Peter 2 and Jude)
• Angels that are working with Satan (Rev. 12 and Eph 6)

 

Angels are spirits. They can take on a form. The Holy Spirit took on the form of a dove when He came to Jesus. Matt. 3:16

Psalm 104:4, Hebrews 1:14, Hebrews 13:2, Genesis 18:2, Genesis 19:1 and Genesis 32:24-30.

Dakes annotated Bible New Testament page 225 refers to 104 appearances of angels to men and women

 

• Angels can take on forms
• Angels can take on human form

Angels can function in all human aspects but Mat 22:30  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Psa 104:4  Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

 

In heaven they are spirits and do not have sexual relations.

 

WHY DID SATAN TRY TO CORRUPT MEN WITH GIANTS?

 

To prevent to coming of the Messiah by corrupting human lineage.

 

EVIL SPIRITS

THEORIES

1. Preadamite people. (I once held to this theory)
2. Fallen angels. (they are bound in tartarus)
3. Evil spirits are connected to the death of giants. Before Genesis 6 there is no record of evil spirits on the earth; only after the flood of Noah.

Rephaim word for giant can sometimes be translated “dead.”

 

Isa 26:14  They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

 

Job 26:5  Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

 

They were buried under the sea during the flood.

 

The bodies of the giants will NOT be resurrected, but every living thing has body, soul and spirit. Where did the spirits of the giants go…became DEMONS?

 

This last theory makes the most sense to me, but, it is a theory. There is no Scripture to substantiate it.
